What is the Ford Power Promise™?
The Ford Power Promise™ is the Ford brand's commitment to help provide retail customers with electric vehicle confidence from day one of their purchase or lease and delivery of a new Mustang Mach-E or E-Transit Cargo Van. It supports owners across home charging, ongoing support and guidance, on-the-road charging and battery confidence.1
What charger will I receive with the Ford Power Promise™?
Customers who purchase or lease a new Ford EV are eligible to receive the Ford Charge Station Pro. Keep in mind the charger model may vary over time based on availability.
If I lease my EV, do I need to return the charger?
No. Even if you lease your electric vehicle, you keep the Ford Charge Station Pro after your lease term ends, so there is no need to return it.
Who installs the home charger?
The complimentary standard installation is performed by licensed electricians in your area identified by Qmerit Electrification LLC. To qualify as a standard installation, the work must be completed at a residential property such as a single-family home, duplex, condo or townhome with a dedicated electrical meter. The charging hardware must attach to the same structure as the main electrical panel, and you are responsible for securing any required approvals from a homeowner's association, property owner or other third party.1
What does 24/7 Live Support include?
24/7 Live Support is available for new and existing Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E owners. Once enrolled, you can text a dedicated Ford advisor anytime for help with charging, BlueCruise, over-the-air software updates and other EV questions. Enrolled customers also receive complimentary proactive towing assistance if the vehicle runs out of charge, with an advisor reaching out to coordinate a tow to your home, dealer or a charge station if needed.1
